One of the questions we like to ask couples when we meet is what kind of wedding they'd like to have. Naturally, there isn't a right answer to the question. We're simply interested in learning what has meaning to you, and how you imagine your day.

Nate and Erika wanted a fun wedding.

We met in a local coffee shop downtown last year and talked about how they wanted a wedding that covered the basics, but also had a slightly whimsical edge to it. Because they were, in Erika's words, a bit quirky.

This is their wedding. Their friends and family came to celebrate their union at the Trinitiy Lutheran Church in Lisle, the Morton Arboretum, and the Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge, and we had the honor of being a part of it. We spent 10 hours with them and didn't want to leave.

It was a fun wedding.
