How do we book you?

I ask for a 50% deposit and a signed contract to hold your wedding date. The balance is due one month before your wedding.


What are your prices?

Weddings begin at $1299. Email me at mikeandfrida(at)gmail.com, and I'll send you my brochure with prices, packages, and more.


Who does the shooting?

I (Mike) typically do the shooting. However, Brenda is also available on certain days, and having both of us is highly recommended.


Where are you based?

Chicago and Rockford, depending on the time of year.


Do you travel or simply provide Rockford wedding photography?

I would love to travel to your wedding, whether it's in Illinois, Wisconsin, or clear across the country. Weddings within one hour of Rockfod have travel included free of charge. Here's a photo journey we shot at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.


Do you provide engagement sessions?

Yes, but I've got my own take on them. I call them Photo Journeys, and you can read about them here.


How many photos do you deliver?

Typically between 25 and 50 for a photo journey, and 200 and 400 images for a wedding. Less is more.


Do you edit our photos?

Yes!  I color correct and enhance all of your photos for the best exposure.


When can we expect our photos?

I typically send out your photos within 30 days after your wedding.


How do we get our photos?

Either through a digital download or through a DVD.


Can we print our photos?

Of course! You can buy your prints through me or take your high-res images to any photo lab to do the printing on your own.


Do you provide albums?

Yes, I offer a fine art album. Albums are my preferred way of telling the story of your wedding. Here's an example of one.


Do you have backup gear?

Yes. I carry multiple camera bodies, lenses, and memory cards to every wedding.
