Ryan and Elizabeth's wedding was something out of a modern fairytale: romantic, yet practical. He's an advertising rep and she's a Peruvian model. They're touring the country and living out of a pickup truck and decided to get married in a courthouse somewhere between Virginia and California. The family wedding will be somewhere in the mountains in Peru. Our paths crossed with an email from Ryan asking if I was available for a last minute photo journey with a wedding thrown in.

It was an offer I couldn't refuse.

We started in Anderson Japanese Gardens, moved on to the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens, and ended up in the Winnebago County Courthouse where they tied the knot.

It was a good day for an elopement.
