But something about us made them trust us with documenting the official beginning of their lives together, and we love them for it.
In their words, they were looking for a relaxed celebration with close family and friends, and their wedding delivered that throughout the eight hours we spent there.
They are two awesome people and we're beyond thrilled that they chose us to capture their wedding at the Fairway Knolls Church, and reception at the Ozark House.
They had family driving in from all over the Midwest, and they were cool enough to have their kids as part of their bridal party. And the dancing...it was pretty epic. No matter how many weddings we shoot, this is not one we'll ever forget.
Oh! These are great. I was fooled at first. I thought the guy with the black suit and red flower was the groom, until I saw him in white. That's nice light in the hallway stairs, and I love that clarity of the D3100 and 35 1.8g on that wedding cake (side by side images with candle). Just shows it's not all about the fanciest camera...though I did like the D700 images :). Nice two people in the picture underneath the green congratulations box.
ReplyDeleteReally like the image of the girl in the red dress getting her picture took.
Man, I can't get over how clear those D3100 images are. Thanks for sharing all these. They must be pleased with these wedding photos.
We love the ones of them exiting the church! Congrats on shooting your first wedding!
ReplyDeleteCanon 5D and 7D, not Nikon D3100/D700.
ReplyDeleteSolid shots.
Yay! This looks like such a sweet celebration!! Rock on!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind comments. We had a great time and are looking forward to several more weddings this summer.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are awesome but I ALSO love the way you write about the couple. It sounds like you genuinely love them and love what you do.
ReplyDeleteGreat wedding, funtastic couple, stunning photos.
